Color spotter Philip Reedy drove up to Mt. Lassen on Wednesday to see if there were any colors to be seen.
He reported that Manzanita Lake doesn’t have many deciduous trees, but there are some sporadic spots showing up.
“I was probably a bit early. However, the light and mountain near sunset produced beautiful colors of their own.”
