Did you feel it this week? A slight shift in air temperature and light? I felt it Tuesday morning when I took my dog out upon waking. It felt darker, even though it was the same time of day I always take him out.
Color spotter Angie Plaisted felt it too during her hike to Dog Lake in Yosemite last weekend.
“I know it’s only August, but check out the beauty from our hike yesterday at Dog Lake (Yosemite) with the golden tall ‘grasses’!,” she wrote.
This is the time of year when the kids are back in school (or headed back soon) and our thoughts turn to the golden days of fall. The excitement is building and we can’t wait for Mother Nature’s most colorful season!
