It’s still August, but color spotter Steve Arita sent in the following report today. Seems the shift in color and light really did start to kick off the autumn season!
“Autumn colors have arrived early here at Camden Lake in Elk Grove, at least for these bunch of trees!,” Arita said.
He captured these images this morning, Friday, Aug. 28 and stated that other trees are starting to turn as well.
