Yosemite was the place to be last weekend and early this week. Multiple color spotters sent in reports of the brilliance they experienced.

Jennifer Natale spent a full day on Oct. 30 in Yosemite, stopping at different places around the valley and hiking on the Mirror Lake Loop.

“The Valley is near peak to peak and a go now,” she said. “These pictures include Swinging Bridge, Sentinel Bridge, the Chapel, and other various meadow views.”

It was rainy late in the day with more that came in over the weekend and Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road were closed as of Oct. 30.

Natale drove in via the El Portal entrance.

“The drive in was at peak along the Merced and color around Mirror Lake was at or near peak,” she said. “The dogwoods seemed a bit muted this year. They seem to be going from yellow to brown, with very little red to be seen.”

Lucas Yan visited Yosemite on Nov. 2 and found the colors still at Peak all along the Merced River and in the Valley. This is definitely your GO NOW! spot for the weekend.
