Color spotter Lina Lambert captured this year’s Hunter Moon a few nights ago as it approached peak fullness. You have one more chance to see this big and bright October moon tonight, Oct. 26.
According to northjersey.com, “The hunter’s moon reached peak illumination at 12:12 a.m. ET Monday, Oct. 26, but don’t worry if you were sleeping through it. The moon will still look beautifully full tonight, shining at about 99% illumination as it rises around sunset. The full moon will be bright in both the morning and evening sky Monday.”
Additionally, Lambert recently found a guardian of autumn and captured an image of the little feline among the leaves.
