A storm is rolling into Mammoth Lakes over the next few days, but color spotters took advantage of last week’s beautiful weather to capture some magical moments in the area.

Angie Plaisted was out on Oct. 2 and found that the Mammoth Lakes Basin was like most higher elevation areas with colors “anywhere from green to brown and a lot of beauty in between!”

While Barbara Richter checked out the Enchanted Forest/Hidden Lakes Loop on Oct. 6 with her BFF.

The 1.7 mile loop in the heart of Mammoth Lakes “still had some pretty yellow color, but it won’t last for long. Perfect temps!”

Mammoth Lakes – Peak (with weather coming in) – GO NOW! You almost missed it.
