It is time to make your way to beautiful Quincy in Plumas County, according to several color spotters in the area.

Last week, Shelley Hunter stated, “We have some trees at peak and some that are not even close. It’s all over the board here, but so beautiful.”

But over the weekend, the colors moved to Near Peak and Peak in this charming town.

“Quincy and the surrounding area is peaking,” said Michael Beatley on Sunday. “Clear blue skies, crisp mountain air and beautiful fall color abounds.”

Jeff Titcomb added, “Go now for the large maple on LaPorte Road in Quincy, California. The big leaf maples are in full yellow color now along all of our rivers and streams. Dogwoods are red and pink and the Indian Rhubarb is getting close to peak as well.”
