Photographer Philip Reedy took a whirlwind, 12-hour drive on Wednesday, Oct. 15 to capture the beauty of fall foliage and fresh snow in the mountains.
The highlight of his trip along 395 was definitely June Lake, he said, so he thought it deserved a report of its own.
“It is definitely at peak now,” Reedy said. “A few trees have lost some leaves and there are a few still turning, but the vast majority are in full red, orange, and yellow glory. If anyone is thinking of going, this weekend would be the perfect time, especially with snow still on the ground.”
