Ellery Lake along Tioga Pass, up Lee Vining Canyon, is a little gem with opportunity for small pops of color.
Right now, the willow bushes are beginning to show a yellow hue and a small collection of aspens are just beginning to change colors.
Ellery Lake is located just outside the official entrance gate to Yosemite and can’t be missed. Fun fact: Ellery Lake is manmade.
