They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this week, color spotter Derek Gurney captured that picture.
Derek visited Lake Sabrina in the Bishop Creek Canyon area on Sept. 15 and found this beautiful and serene scene.
“I’ve been using this website for several years, and glad for the opportunity to finally contribute.” he said.
“The aspens are Patchy, I’d say. Maybe worth a detour if you are already in the area.”
Things are definitely changing in the Eastern Sierra of California with much more still to come throughout the state.
Temperatures are cooler and fall is definitely in the air!
