This year, fall kicks off with the second annual Paint Mono County plein air competition.
Taking place from Sept. 20-27, 2026 the competition features $4,000 in prizes plus the chance to experience and capture the beauty of the Eastern Sierra region as fall color paints it in shades of yellow, orange, and gold.
Paint Mono County is an invitation to artists of all ability levels to paint in the outdoors, take part in daily events and workshops, and finish off with a celebratory reception.
