“I can’t walk out my door this time of year without seeing something colorful worth photographing,” said color spotter and professional photographer Phil Reedy. “Today it was the strawberry trees surrounding my house where the autumn berries are beginning to ripen.”
Reedy explained that soon the berries will all be bright Christmas red, but at present they range from yellow to orange to red.
“And it won’t be long until the trees are covered with bell shaped white and pink flowers, but that’s a tale for another report,” he slyly said.
