As Quincy and its surrounding wilderness begin to wind down for the season, and winter weather descends, the colors are taking on a whimsical glow before they fade away.

Color spotter Patrick Luscri captured several images at the end of last week from the wilderness surrounding Quincy, including a popular vista point called Mt. Hough with views of Crystal Lake.

Luscri estimates that the area is at 95%.

So bundle up and take one more trip to this area before it’s gone for 2024.
