Fall colors continue to appear around the Durham area, according to the latest from Robert Kermen. The walnut harvest is over leaving the walnut orchard leaves to turn color and drop right along with the “windfalls” missed during harvest.

Along the “Midway” between Chico and Durham, the old Chinese Pistache are about 50% color and should be at peak color in a week or so.
