As the Plumas County seat and largest community in the county, Quincy has a lot to boast, year-round. Come fall, however, this historic town bursts with even more beauty and charm.
The area attracts color spotters with its variety of color surrounding idyllic structures such as the Methodist Church or many of the Victorian homes around town.
This year, color spotter Patrick Luscri has brought a new angle to Quincy with his overhead drone images. Seeing Quincy from above brings an entirely new and very beautiful perspective of this small town.
Luscri’s latest submission shows fall images taken on November 2 and 3. All of the images are in, or over, Quincy and reflect what Luscri reports as 80-90% Peak color.
This town has been peaking for over a week, so now is the time to visit before you miss out!
