It’s beginning to happen … slowly for now. Color spotters are starting to see changes around the Eastern Sierra – a popular high elevation spot in California that is one of the first places to show fall color.

As Angie Plaisted explained, there is not a lot of color in Mammoth Lakes yet, but the leaves in Snowcreek Meadow are beginning to turn. And turning they are. Angie’s photos from her walk today around the meadow are signaling that the change has begun!
