A few weeks ago, color spotter Lucy took a road trip with her in-laws from San Francisco to the Eastern Sierra. At that time, McGee Creek was full of stunning color and was her favorite part of the trip.

This week, a bit of color continues to keep this area aglow but there are several stands of stripped trees. It is interesting to watch how the color has progressed.

The weather through Friday will dictate what remains. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit.
