In Mammoth Lakes there is a portion of the town path near the Snowcreek Resort offices that offers beautiful color this time of year. Meadows and ponds, as well as views of Mammoth Mountain Ski Area highlight this spot, making it extra special.

Two separate color spotters visited in the past week and captured the color changes taking place.

“I took a lovely stroll down the Snowcreek path to the ponds to check out the fall color,” said Barbara Richter. “Some trees have already dropped their leaves, some are beautiful yellow and you still have some green to change. Just beautiful!”
