Color spotter Frank Dariano reported from San Jose last week.
“These were taken on December 9 on or near the Alameda near downtown San Jose,” he said of his photos. “The Ginkgo biloba trees here and around the South Bay have been peaking for the last week. The other trees are past peek but are ‘leafing’ a wonderful carpet on the sidewalk outside the building where I work. This neighborhood is full of beautiful leaves that will not be around much longer.”
