Shot Down But Not Defeated

Earlier this week, Peter Robbins planned a foliage/moonrise shot, hoping there would be a break in the clouds, but alas such an opportunity did not materialize.

“Oh well,” he said. “The Coyote Pond in nearby Lincoln, CA was still lovely.  And my town Rocklin and adjacent Roseville are just brimming with colors with all the exotics planted along well planned and widely planted boulevards, and should remain eye-candy for the next several weeks.”

While not necessarily spectacular for photographers unless macro/cityscapes are the goal, the colors are lovely for the eyes, Robbins said.
