Color spotter John Natelli visited Sierra and Nevada counties on Oct.18-19. The following is what he discovered.
“The shots from Sierraville and Yuba Pass are a mixture of aspen, big leaf maple and cottonwood,” he said. “Sagehen Meadow was pretty much all quaking aspen and the shots from Wild Plum Road were mainly big leaf maple and black oak with some other stuff mixed in.”
“All three spots are currently peaking.”
