“Holy fall color!” exclaimed our friends at Mono County Tourism this week after a visit to the June Lake Loop.

“Fiery reds and deep oranges are lighting up the entire loop. While a few trees have dropped their leaves, most are absolutely glowing — and enough green remains that this area should stay spectacular for the next two weeks.”

The colors are truly putting on a fall show and with the recent snowfall, driving through the loop is a magical blend of winter and fall.

As with other areas of the state this year, the loop is a mix of peak colors and also patches of green. We suggest you don’t wait on this location.
