The small, apple-growing region of California called Oak Glen is always a beautiful spot for fall colors and this year is no different.
Jess Hampton and Kathy Lee visited on December 4 and even though it was slightly past peak, they were surprised by the fall colors they saw from the minute they got off the 10 freeway at the Live Oak exit. Due to warm temperatures this year, fall color seems to be lingering a little longer.
“It’s slightly past peak but the warm weather is forecasted to last awhile here so those who head out there in the next several days may be able to still enjoy some fall colors,” Lee said. “The Preserve is especially quite beautiful right now with a mix of colors ranging from vibrant green to past peak. It’s a nice place to stroll even when there aren’t any fall colors.”
