Warm temperatures and fall colors persist, for now, in Bishop and the Owens Valley and many people are out taking advantage of it all.

Things are still incredibly beautiful according to color spotter Betsy Forsyth, but are starting to wind down. GO NOW! to Bishop and Southern Inyo County before the magic slips away for another year.

City Park is the place to be in Bishop right now, or the golf course, or Millpond, actually, LOL,” reported Forsyth. “There are still some trees holding out to change colors, while many others in the northern part of the Owens Valley are past peak.”

Southern Inyo County, with its slightly lower elevations, still has a variety of greens, yellows and golds. With temperatures STILL in the low seventies, it is kind of incredible!Enjoy, friends!
