Even after the storm last week, areas in Mono County such as the community of Crowley Lake are still peaking with color. For now, anyway.

The hillsides above town are starting to fade, but the colors along Crowley Lake Drive and the park are still gorgeous.

Color spotter, Angie Plaisted was “desperate for those last bursts of colors (after work) in Crowley!” and captured several beautiful images in the area.

Wintry weather is expected again this weekend, so if you got to the Eastern Sierra in the last week, kudos to you. If you didn’t, GO NOW!

Please remember Crowley is a residential community. Drive slowly, watch for people and kids walking and biking, and be respectful.
