We received many images from the weekend right before yesterday’s storm hit and we are still trying to catch up and share all of the beauty. While things might look a little different now in these areas, we couldn’t resist posting the awesomeness of fall color in California.
Gary Skipper II was all over the Eastern Sierra on Sunday, Oct. 12 documenting the gorgeous foliage and wildlife before the storm rolled in.
“Virginia Lakes had great color near the creek on the access road,” he said. “Lots of orange. The trailhead itself still had color and lots of deer and pika.”
There were also plenty of chipmunks at Lundy Canyon for Skipper to share the colors with, as well as the notable waterfall with red plants and really cool icicle formations.
Conway Summit had a great overall variety of colors, as did McGee Creek.
Eastern Sierra – Peak and Past Peak. GO NOW! You almost missed it.
