It’s beginning. Creeping in slowly with the changing light and temperature. Autumn in approaching and many are already seeing tiny changes happening before their eyes.
Earlier this month, Emily Bryant was seeing pops of color in trees in the Eastern Sierra in places such as Twin Lakes in Bridgeport as well as Rock Creek, while Lance Pifer was seeing little bits along Tioga Road last week.
Dan Varvais was chasing thunderstorms with his wife last weekend around Carson Pass and Blue Lakes where they saw hints of their favorite season peeping through. “A lot of the willows along streams are turning along with some under shrubs,” Varvais said.
No matter how you slice it, fall is on its way and we couldn’t be more excited.
