The colors in Inyo County have made their way to the Owens Valley where they have been beautiful this past week.

Color spotter Betsy Forsyth with Visit Bishop stated, “There are stunning yellows on over half of the trees. Some cottonwoods have already peaked and lost their leaves, so it is going to go quickly from here. There are still plenty of trees with green leaves that hopefully won’t just freeze at some point and go brown, so we will see!”

She added that City Park in Bishop is gorgeous right now! “With snow on the White Mountains, walks along any of the canals and waterways are spectacular as well.”
