Eastern Sierra, Fall Color Report

Lundy Canyon has moved past peak. Put this location on your bucket list for 2025 (10/27/24) Angie Plaisted

Color spotter Angie Plaisted was out on Sunday, 10/27, capturing fall colors on the June Lake Loop and in Lundy Canyon.

“Stunning golden colors along the June Lake Loop on Sunday,” she reported. “I would say go now, but after our snow and freezing temps yesterday (10/28) much of this beauty may have turned brown.”

As for Lundy Canyon, Plaisted reported, “the Canyon named Lundy is Done-dy, lol!”

Very little left in Lundy Canyon. However, the campground still had some beautiful colors at peak on Sunday.
