You may catch the tail end of color in the Eastern Sierra or you can check out the Northern Sierra, which should be in good shape at that time. This includes places such as Hope Valley, Carson Pass, Lake Tahoe. You may also find a good amount of color in the Shasta Cascade area. Happy hunting!
