The sun lights up the fall colors at Bucks Lake (10/1/24) Jeff Titcomb

Color spotter Jeff Titcomb reported this week that a lot of the color in Plumas County so far is in the valleys but that they aspens and dogwoods are beginning to change in the mountains.

He captured some great images from Buck’s Lake above Quincy.

Similar to some other reports we are receiving from the area, colors look to be patchy but progressing right along.

Plumas County – Patchy (10-50%)
