Hi John/Folks,
Amazing pictures !
We are planning on visiting Bishop/Mono/Inyo County to see the fall foliage. Will be traveling from San Jose area. Do you think its a good time to see the fall foliage considering the fact that its end of October and I have read at different places that the best time to see is early October.
Thanks
Sudeep
Sudeep,
We are probably hours away from publishing YOU MISSED IT! for the entire Eastern Sierra. There still is color to be seen, but peak there is early October for Bishop Creek Canyon and mid October for June Lake. It’s about gone. Best bet for fall color now is So. Calif or Plumas County. You would have to race to Mono County to see what remains and it is mostly blown.
